What is ARoom2Grow, also known as AR2G?
AR2G is a registered 501(c)3 non profit organization set up to provide children ages 5 to 17 a functional, productive, self-inspiring, personal space to grow and thrive. 

     Who is an Adult Representative?
A parent, legal guardian or otherwise authorized adult over the age of 18.

     Who is a Benefit Recipient?
A child age 5 to 17 who will receive the benefits from AR2G.

     Can a minor nominate themselves?
No.  Each nomination must be for an adult representative of a benefit recipient.  A parent, legal guardian or otherwise authorized adult will be the representative of the benefit recipient (child/children)

     Can I nominate myself as an adult representative?
Yes.

     Is there an age requirement for the child/children benefiting from the service?
Yes, the child/children benefiting from this service must be between 5 and 17 years of age.

     Does my income and/or assets affect my ability to qualify?
Each nomination is considered on a case by case basis and financial need is a strong consideration.

     Is the benefit recipient required to be interviewed?
No, the benefit recipient is the child/children of the adult representative.  The adult representative is the client.  the adult representative can authorize our organization to interview a child regarding anything related to his/her room design.  Our organization will not reach out to a child without express written consent from an adult representative.

     How much input does the benefit recipient and/or the adult representative have in the design of the room?
AR2G will work closely with the client to come up with a plan that aligns with the benefit recipient’s likes, interests, etc.  AR2G works within a budget and AR2G is limited to the current financial and material resources at the time of the project.  Not all wishes and wants will be achievable but AR2G will do it’s best to provide the perfect space.

     Does a nomination guarantee acceptance of a client?
No.  AR2G will conduct a phone interview and review the case before accepting or declining a client.

     I’m interested in nominating myself or someone else, what level of privacy can I expect from AR2G?
AR2G takes privacy and discretion very seriously.  Each case will be given the upmost respect and consideration as it relates to personal privacy.
